Nana Esi Ketewaa Festival

Nana Esi is one of the principal abosom at Larteh, Ghana. She is a deified ancestor who helps everyone, especially women who want children and women who are pregnant. Nana Esi is the Okyeame (spokesperson), for the abosom (gods). She is a peacemaker and helps settle disputes within families.
