Nana Asuo Botopre Festival

He is the combined energies of Asuo Boto & Asuo Bosomprim. In Akan cosmology, it is stated that Kokofu is one of the first places that Almighty God established life. In fact, he often states that he was present when Almighty God created the earth. Prayers/offerings will be accepted by him/his shrine following the festival! Nana Asuo Botopre is an ancient river deity from Kokofu- Asante, Ghana.
WE ARE DEDICATING THIS FESTIVAL TO NANA AKOSUA OFORIWA, WHO RECENTLY BEGAN HER JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF THE ANCESTORS.
IN 1980, NANA YAO OPARE DINIZULU I INVITED OKOMFOHENE NANA SERWAA TO AMERICA AND NANA AKOSUA ACCOMPANIED HER. IT WAS DURING THIS TIME THAT NANA AKOSUA POSSESSED AND INTRODUCED US TO NANA ASUO BOTOPRE.
